Plays drum set from the age of eleven.

In 1991 he fell in love with north Indian classical music.

1991 – 1995 studied Tabla from Pt. Chhote Lal Misra, Varanasi, India.

Since then, besides teaching Tabla, he performed both playing classical Indian music,and creating fusion of Tabla and Indian music elements, with a wide variety of artists and musical styles.

Student of Trilok Gurtu (IN) and Pete Lockett (UK) Graduated from Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen 1995.

Worldfamous for mastering complex indian rhythms and vocal percussion. He has released 12 albums, 3 books and a DVD

He has performed John McLaughlins guitar concerto "The Mediterranean" with Symphony orchestra on several occasions. Last time in Moscow 2013

Studied music in Germany,

Denmark, Ghana, Bulgaria and continuosly meets and work with musicians from all over the world.

 

In 2009 she finnished her Bachelor in classical piano, 2012 she graduated in "Master Of Global Music" in Aarhus, DK.

Today Elis is based in Denmark.
